Kris Collo, MicroPactMicroPact announced last week the launch of the MicroPact Innovation Challenge. The announcement was made at the Gartner Business Process Management Summit 2012 in Baltimore where MicroPact is demonstrating their unified, open architecture approach to BPM.The MicroPact Innovation Challenge looks for entrepreneurs to identify real-world application ideas to be implemented as entellitrak solutions and sold in the marketplace. Entries will be judged on the description of their business challenge and effective demonstration of a solution utilizing the entellitrak unified BPM platform and its market potential.“The real foundation of continuous innovation is the ability to source ideas from a pool of engaged, creative people who are not afraid to tackle the problems that seem the most daunting,” said Clara M. Conti, Vice President, Strategic Programs at MicroPact. “The Innovation Challenge gives today’s problem solvers and innovators the opportunity to convert great ideas into real-world applications, to bring them to market, to generate income and to anticipate future challenges.”MicroPact will accept submissions twice a year in the Summer-Fall and Winter-Spring series. Submissions for the 2012 Summer-Fall series will be accepted beginning June 1, 2012 with winners announced monthly from July 1, 2012 through October 2012.Selected submissions will receive a minimum $500 cash prize, royalty revenue from sales associated with the solution and publicity and recognition through MicroPact’s semi-annual awards program.
