    CPS Hires JD Sicilia VP Of Performance Excellence And Program Support Operations

    CPS Professional Services announced Monday that it had appointed JD Sicilia as VP of Performance Excellence and Program Support Operations.  His position entails collaborating with CPS senior management in growing the company’s presence in Washington and increasing the company’s brand visibility with government and commercial clients. He will also work with to enhance and design the company’s various offerings and programs leveraging subject matter experts and company leadership.

    “We are delighted to welcome JD to CPS,” said Phil Panzarella, President and CEO. “His extensive experience and accomplished leadership skills will add significant value to the company’s strategic growth efforts.”

    Sicilia is a 21 year U.S. Army veteran who also holds 27 years of experience in performance management, strategic planning, problem solving and organizational design in defense and intelligence for the federal government.

    Before CPS, Sicilia served as Director of Planning and Performance Management for the Office of Secretary of Defense (OSD), where he developed departmental strategic plans, performance goals and supervised the performance management activities of the department.

    Sicilia was also the director of the DoD Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Program Office where he led DoD-wide performance management activities, provided staff training and ensured the office captured the best business practices enterprise-wide, culminating in program growth for the largest and most complex deployment of performance management ever attempted.

    Sicilia also served as the Chief of Performance Management for the Defense Intelligence Agency.
