John Jumper, New CEO of SAIC

Earlier this week, SAIC was awarded a $78 million dollar contract by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to provide Enterprise Remote Identity Proofing (ERIP) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Credential Services to support CMS. The contract has a one year base period of performance and four one-year options.

The SAIC team will use the latest in identity proofing and credential provisioning to develop a secure and efficient infrastructure that would minimize fraud of CMS systems while enabling access to CMS using multiple devices including secure mobile access technologies.

“We look forward to supporting CMS’ important mission by delivering an integrated ERIP and MFA cloud services solution that enables trusted access and online transactions in compliance with federal standards,” said Charles Beard, SAIC chief information officer and business unit general manager. “Our team of cybersecurity and health information technology experts, as well as global leaders in verification technologies and fraud protection, will provide an innovative solution to this important customer.”
