WashingtonExec asked the simple question to top area executives:

“If you could give your kids only three pieces of advice, what would they be?”

Today’s critical advice comes from Jennifer Morgan, President of SAP Public Services, to her two boys.

    1. Be your brother’s best friend: You’ll have many, many friends during your life but one who literally shares your DNA and spirit.  Stick by each other through thick and thin.  You may argue but never fight.

    2. Celebrate each other’s success: Be your brother’s biggest cheerleader.  Don’t spend time comparing yourselves or comparing yourselves to others.  Each of you has unique talents.  If you draw upon these, you will excel.  And when you do, be humble and appreciate the gifts you’ve been given.

    3. Work hard, take pride and responsibility in all you do: Be accountable for your every word, every action.  Remember, in the end you are your brother’s keeper.  If you’re ever in doubt, go back to  Advice Number 1!
