Yesterday marked Bill Milligan’s first day as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Blue Canopy Group. Milligan is the former CFO of HPTi. HPTi was acquired by DRC in June of last year for $143 million.
In this role, Milligan will manage all aspects of the company’s financial operations, including corporate accounting, strategic financial planning, income taxes and corporate treasury.
“After a great run at HPTi, I am very excited to find my new home at Blue Canopy. There are a lot of similarities between the two companies in terms of high performing leadership teams, a high growth business and the work being mission relevant. It is always exciting to be part of a high performing company,” Milligan told WashingtonExec.
Milligan brings over 25 years of financial experience to Blue Canopy Group. Before joining HPTi, Milligan was CFO of Anystream as well as CFO of MRJ Technology Solutions.
Milligan is a certified public accountant and earned his B.S. in accounting at Frostburg State University and his M.B.A. at George Washington University.
