    New WashingtonExec Series:

WashingtonExec asked the simple question to top area executives:

“If you could give your kids only three pieces of advice, what would they be?”

Today’s insight comes from John Kealey, CEO of Vivisimo.

    1.     Cultivate your network – the people you have in your circle of friends and associates may be the most valuable asset you will amass.  You will be amazed at the impact they have on your journey through life.

    2.     Never stop learning – we will probably never have more than a small fraction of the knowledge we truly need in life. Constantly strive to understand more about the world around you and whatever your passion, never stop learning about it.

    3.     Be Humble – People appreciate those who share credit, put others on a pedestal and do not seek the limelight for themselves.
