    Dr. Greg Hanson Named New SVP & GM Of NCI’s Air Force & Technology Services Group

    Today NCI, Inc announced Dr. J. Greg Hanson as the company’s new Senior Vice President and General Manager of its U.S. Air Force and Technology Services Group (AF&TSG). Dr. Hanson has worked in the federal defense, business and academia sectors for over 30 years.

    Dr. Hanson is the former COO of Criterion Systems and also served as the first Assistant Sergeant at Arms and Chief Information Officer for the U.S. Senate. Prior to his public service, Dr. Hanson was the CTO for Universal Systems & Technology (UNITECH).

    “I am very pleased to announce the promotion of Greg Hanson to a new leadership role at NCI,” said Brian Clark, President of NCI. “Since joining NCI in April 2011, Greg has been instrumental in formulating the strategic direction of AF&TSG. Not only has he demonstrated exceptional leadership, but he continues to drive innovation and creativity in business development, internal processes, and operations. I look forward to drawing upon his extensive experience and expertise as we continue to serve our Air Force customers,” said Clark.

    Dr. Hanson retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1997 with the title of Chief Software Engineer. Dr. Hanson earned a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Central Florida, an MS in Information Systems from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology, and a BS from the U.S. Air Force Academy.
