SAVE THE DATE: Recently, Helios HR announced the Nomination Workshop for the 6th annual Apollo Awards. The workshop will take place on January 10th at the Crowne Plaza in Tyson’s Corner from 7:30 – 9:30 a.m.

The workshop will provide a preview of the nomination form, answer nominee questions, and the former Judge as well as past winners will share the types of programs that previously provided winning nominations.  The Apollo Awards program recognizes organizations in the Washington metropolitan region that drive innovation and impact employee development initiatives.

    Panelist will include:

    • Eleni Antoniou, Director of HR, High Performance Technologies, Inc.
    • David Makarsky, Vice President of Operations, B.F. Saul Company Hotel Division
    • Elizabeth Shea, President and CEO, SpeakerBox

“With the increasing volume of nominations we have seen each year, we saw the need for a pre-awards session helping organizations best represent their programs,” said Kathy Albarado, president and CEO, Helios HR.

Nominations for the Apollo Awards will be accepted from January 12 through February 16, 2012. Winners will be announced at the annual breakfast awards ceremony at the McLean Hilton on May 30, 2012.
