    Reggie Aggarwal, Cvent

Recently, Cvent announced that its founder and CEO, Reggie Aggarwal, was named one of the 25 most influential people in the meetings industry by Successful Meetings magazine. This is Aggarwal’s second appearance on the list, which was previously published by MeetingNews, the sister publication of Successful Meetings magazine.

The editorial staff of Successful Meetings magazine and MeetingNews selected the 25 influencers after reviewing highlights from the meetings industry in 2011. Aggarwal was the first influencer to be announced in the 2011 list. In previous years, the publication has featured several notable figures, including the CEOs of Marriott, Maritz, Expedia, Priceline and United Airlines.

Aggarwal was first recognized on the list in 2001. Today, the global meetings management technology company has four product lines, more than 900 employees and over 90,000 users in 50 countries.

The magazine is highlighting one member from the list each week, with a full list being distributed in July.
