STG, Inc. has hired Robert L. Phoebus to serve as Senior Vice President (SVP), Defense Sector. Mr. Phoebus has more than 30 years of industry experience that spans leadership positions in operations, product development, business development, project management, and consulting.

Phoebus said, “STG has quietly assembled a core group of A-list talent over the years, and I am excited and humbled to be a part of that evolution. I look forward to working with this dynamic team of seasoned professionals as we achieve new levels of customer service and contract performance.”

Phoebus is responsible for the operation and oversight of STG’s Defense Sector, which provides performance-based support for warfighter systems and IT operations for the Department of Defense (DoD).

Before STG, Phoebus served as COO at Federal Resources Corporation (FRC), and prior to that provided leadership and management at Nortel Government Solutions, SAIC, and Electronic Data Systems (EDS). His proven record of developing winning strategies has resulted in more than $4B in contract wins over his career.

STG’s President and CEO Simon Lee said, “Bob will play a critical role in STG’s march towards a billion dollar company. He has a strong working knowledge of Federal markets, and brings a unique blend of corporate and entrepreneurial experience that aligns with STG’s core business philosophy.”
