    Serco Awarded Task Order To Support U.S. Army

    Today, Serco Inc. announced that the Company has been awarded a task order, under the HRsolutions contract, to support the U.S. Army through its Army OneSource Initiative, which was established to provide Soldiers and their Families with access to information, programs and services.  The contract is valued at $32.7 million, with a one-year base period and two one-year options periods, if all options are exercised.

    Through Army OneSource (AOS), Serco is helping ensure comprehensive community support for Soldiers and their Families regardless of component or geographic location.  Serco Community Support Coordinators are located throughout the US and Pacific to raise awareness and generate support among the private sector to effectively serve the unique challenges of Military life. Serco also provides project management, marketing, family programs, outreach and training in support of this Army program.  Serco has been supporting AOS since 2006 when the program was founded and launched.

    VP of Serco’s Defense Personnel Services unit Steve Sultan said,  “The initiative of the Army to serve its Soldiers and their Families through the Army OneSource program is a major undertaking, and through our support over the past five years we have.”
