Recently, Serco Inc. was awarded a task order to support the Aeronautical Systems Center, Special Operations Forces (SOF) and Personnel Recovery Division (ASC/WIS) in the areas of engineering and acquisition, financial, and logistics management.  The Task Order has a seven month base-period and two additional option periods with a ceiling value of $13.5 million over 25 months, if all options are exercised.

Serco’s work will assist the Air Force in acquiring and supporting SOF weapon systems.

“We recognize that Wright-Patterson plays an important role for Air Force logistics.  With our strong background in engineering and logistics, we look forward to the ongoing opportunity to support the Aeronautical Systems Center,” said Harry Gatanas, Senior VP of Serco’s Defense and Intel group.

Serco was awarded this task order by the U.S. Army Contracting Command – National Capitol Region, under the Logistics, Maintenance and Supply Support (LMSS) ID/IQ contract vehicle.  The vehicle allows Serco to compete for wide variety of program management and technical task orders for the Department of Defense.
