SAVE THE DATE: The Congressional Smart Contracting Caucus, co-chaired by Congressmen Rob Wittman (R-VA) and Gerry Connolly (D-VA), will explore the critical challenges faced by federal contractors in spurring innovation and collaboration during a period of fiscal uncertainty and pending budget reductions when it meets Thursday, December 1 at 1 pm in Room 2168 of the Rayburn House Office Building.
A line-up of expert panelists from the federal government and the private sector will discuss how, during times of tight budgeting, investments in innovation and collaboration between government and industry can lead to significant long-term cost savings. The panelists will go beyond “What” the government buys, and focus on “How” the government can buy more smartly and effectively.
The Caucus event will be led by the co-chairs, Congressmen Connolly and Wittman.
