Recently, Salient Federal Solutions, Inc. (Salient) appointed Tim May as its first CMO. As senior VP and CMO, May will report to COO Bill Parker, and will lead the company’s centralized activities in marketing, business development, capture and proposal.

May has over 20 years of experience in directly securing new business and building sales organizations. May was most recently at Apptis, where he served as the company’s senior VP of business development. May also worked at EDS, rising from the technical and program management ranks to VP of sales.

Brad Antle, president and CEO of Salient said, “Tim’s experience and past successes are impressive and clearly demonstrate that he is the kind of leader we look for at Salient to help us serve the government’s new challenges.”

May said, “This is a challenging, yet exciting, time to be in the federal IT services market, and one that calls for innovation, flexibility and agility. I am very much looking forward to working with the members of such a seasoned and successful leadership team in helping them further their mission and vision to deliver what federal clients need now.”
