Ed Rinkavage, Vice President of Catapult

Recently, Catapult Consultants LLC announced it has won a five year contract with the Centers of Medicare & Medicaid (CMS) in Baltimore, Maryland and ten CMS Regional Offices nationwide to develop, track and analyze Medicare provider System Improvement Agreements (SIAs) that are established between a healthcare provider and CMS.

To improve patient safety and healthcare outcomes, CMS establishes SIAs with select healthcare providers who have displayed challenges with compliance in the past.

Catapult will be providing SIA-related support on the following

    • Create tools to facilitate the development of SIAs and develop SIAs
    • Develop a web-based database to track SIAs, communications and documentation
    • Prepare reports and analyze the SIAs
    • Work with CMS and providers to evaluate the SIA process

Catapult Consultants’ CEO Joshua Bogart said, “Catapult is pleased to continue our relationship with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services by developing tools and technologies that assist CMS in monitoring a variety of healthcare providers. We look forward to continuing work with CMS while expanding into additional areas and continuing to deliver value-driven results.”
