Today, SAIC announced it was awarded a subcontract by General Dynamics to support the relocation of the DHS headquarters by providing IT integration and implementation services. This subcontract has a seven-year base period and a value of more than $90 million (if all options are exercised). General Dynamics’ prime task order was awarded under the GSA Alliant contract vehicle and is valued at $867 million.

The DHS Technical Integration Program provides IT support for the relocation of DHS headquarters to the Saint Elizabeths East and West Campuses in southeast Washington, D.C.

SAIC will help provide support to DHS including the design, development and installation of the IT infrastructure.  The team will provide innovative technological solutions through advanced IT integration services.

SAIC’s Senior VP and Business Unit GM Doug Wagoner said, “We are pleased to be a part of the General Dynamics team to meet the future IT needs of the Department of Homeland Security. The new IT infrastructure will enable a modern, efficient and sustainable IT system for DHS that will be secure and scalable for many years to come.”
