Greater Washington Government Contractor Awards Unveils 2011 Winners

This week, the 9th annual Greater Washington Government Contractor Awards program unveiled its 2011 class of winners.  Four businesses and three executives were honored.

Awards are giving to contractors in four revenue categories and to executives in three revenue categories. 

The awards program, produced by the Fairfax Chamber of Commerce, the Professional Services Council and Washington Technology, recognized outstanding achievement by companies and executives during the past year.

The program also honored Robert Beyster, founder of Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC), with induction into the Hall of Fame of Greater Washington Government Contracting Awards.

The 2011 winners are:

  • Contractor of the year (less than $25 million) – CPS Professional Services LLC
  • Contractor of the year ($25 million to $75 million) – Agilex
  • Contractor of the year ($75 million to $300 million) – Systems Planning and Analysis Inc.
  • Contractor of the year (greater than $300 million) – Vangent
  • Executive of the year (less than $75 million) – Dolly Oberio, C2 Technologies Inc.
  • Executive of the year ($75 million to $300 million) – Chris Torti, Jorge Scientific Corp.
  • Executive of the year (more than $300 million) – Paul Cofoni, CACI International Inc.

Also honored were the public sector partners of the year: Dan Gordon, administrator of the Office of Federal Procurement Policy, and Michele Foster, an acquisition executive with Veterans Affairs.
