Today, AT&T Government Solutions announced it has been awarded a Connections II contract from the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA). The Connections II contract is a multiple award IDIQ contract with a potential value of $5 billion over the next nine years and three months.

This contract will serve as a vehicle for federal agencies to purchase a list of telecommunications, network, and professional services for federal building, bases, and other campus-type environments.

AT&T’s Government Solutions Senior VP Thomas Harvey said, “The Connections II contract provides federal agencies the flexibility needed to purchase the right telecommunications products and services – at the right price. AT&T’s expertise with the Networx contract will serve as a strong foundation for our work through Connections II, ensuring agencies have secure access to the latest technology, personnel, and services.”

As a Networx Universal and Enterprise contract holder, AT&T will offer full-service telecommunication solutions to federal customers. In addition, Connections II provides federal agencies secret, top secret and TS/SCI clearances.

The Connections II contract has a base contract period of three years and three months with six, one-year options.
