Today, Octo Consulting Groupannounced it was recognized as the GovStar “Star Workplace” award winner at this year’s annual GovStar Awards Gala. The award was presented by SmartCEO magazine and recognized Octo Consulting Group in the small business category for its leadership in cultivating a dynamic workplace for its employees.

President and CEO of Octo Consulting Group Mehul Sanghani said, “What really makes us most proud of this award is that it’s not simply a metric drive award that recognizes business growth or success, but is instead based on feedback from employees and review of culture. It underscores that we have been able to develop a rewarding and engaging work environment for our employees. This is something that is often talked about and rarely followed through on.”

Octo Consulting Group has implemented several initiatives in order to shape its corporate culture including, empowerment, social responsibility and leadership. These initiatives have led extremely low employee turnover rates, increased collaboration, and yielded high productivity.

This award was the 7th independent publication award that Octo Consulting Group was recognized for in 2011.
