The National Veteran Small Business Coalition (NVSBC) awarded TASC its Champion of Veteran Enterprise Award for 2010. TASC received the award for exceeding federally mandated subcontracting goals established for veteran-owned small businesses.

TASC’s corporate small business liaison officer Craig Ridley said, “At TASC, we have a long legacy of successful teaming with small businesses in a way that helps our government customers achieve their goal of fueling small-business growth. Equally important, our small business teammates can use the expertise we share to grow their companies.”

Executive Director of the NVSBC Scott Denniston added, “Of all the federal prime contractors in the running, TASC is one of only six that met or exceeded the service disabled-veteran and veteran-owned goals. One of our purposes as an organization is helping the next generation of veterans start and run small businesses. We do that by partnering with companies such as TASC – companies that understand that it takes effort and time to nurture small businesses.”
