    AMERICAN SYSTEMS Announces Award Worth $18.3 Million

    Today, AMERICAN SYSTEMS announced the award of the Cloud Computing and IT Services contract by the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA). This award was made under the ENCORE II Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The IDIQ contract provides the Department of Defense with IT solutions.

    Under this new contract, AMERICAN SYSTEMS will:

    • 24/7/365 fully managed IT infrastructure hosting using cloud technology for SCES program support, non-production, disaster recovery, and production environments
    • Oversee installation, maintenance and information assurance (IA) for all hardware/software/network equipment
    • Establish a disaster recovery site and deliver program support that includes application installation and restoration
    • Manage a call center and level 2 and 3 technical help desks

    President and CEO of AMERICAN SYSTEMS William C. Hoover said, “We are thrilled to be selected based on our extensive experience across a broad range of IT services that provide the federal government with IT security, flexibility and availability. AMERICAN SYSTEMS’ support will significantly contribute to the federal government’s efforts to move to the cloud for cost savings, flexibility, and secure performance.”

    The task order is valued at $18.3 million with a one-year base period and four one-year options.
