Avineon, Inc announced its new Senior Vice President of Federal Business Development, James E. Smith. Smith has many years experience says he is “excited to join the team.”

Smith’s background includes working directly with many federal government programs in achieving marketing, sales, and strategic planning goals. Smith’s primary role at Avinon will be leading the business development team to create the best solutions and provide civil defense and aid to homeland security agencies.

“The company’s outstanding record of past performance makes my job easier. I’m very impressed with the technical capabilities of Avineon’s staff and look forward to helping them find opportunities to deliver value to government customers,” Smith said.

President and CEO Karlu Rambhala said, “Smiths experience with contractors both smaller and larger than Avineon makes him ideally suited to help our organization continue the pattern of growth we have established over the past nineteen years.”
