On September 06, 2011, CSC announced that David Levitt will be the next Vice President of Health Information Technology Solutions for the company’s North American Public Sector Health Services Division. With more than 93,000 employees, CSC is a leading provider of technology-enabled business solutions and services.
As part of his new role, Levitt will be in charge of developing new business with key federal health agencies and positioning CSC as a leader in granting new systems necessary to implement the changes required by the Affordable Care Act.
Levitt formerly was the Account Director for CSC’s Business Unit, where he collaborated with organizations such as the Department of Veteran Affairs, Department of Defense Health, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and the Department of Labor. Levitt was also responsible for winning several critical engagements in healthcare including the Development Effort Consolidation Contract (DECC) within the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
He currently holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in physics from the University of Maryland and a juris doctor from the University of Maryland School Of Law.
