Last week, Women in Technology (WIT) announced its 2011-2012 board and leadership team. Kelly Harman will lead the organization as this year’s president. WIT is a premier organization contributing to the success of professional women in the Washington technology community.
“It is an honor to be part of such an accomplished group of women and to have an opportunity to lead an organization that has given so much to women in the greater Washington technology community,” said Harman, Vice President of Carousel Industries. “This year, with the help of the leadership team, we will continue to extend WIT’s impact by collaborating with other networking organizations in the area, hosting events in both Maryland and Virginia, and supporting initiatives that advance our vision of helping women in technology from the classroom to the boardroom such as Girls in Technology and the Leadership Foundry.”
