SAVE THE DATE: The Counter Terror Expo US is coming to the Washington D.C. area on May 16-17, 2012 for those who are interested in innovative approaches and solutions to advance the capability of all involved to defend the United States from harm.
The Expo’s main focus is on public and private collaboration from counter terror experts, along with other private and public sector executives, industry leaders and influencers.
Speakers will discuss a number of topics that include: Global counterterrorism, securing and managing borders, critical national infrastructure protection, safeguarding and securing cyberspace, prevention through environmental and building design and emergency services/disaster response. Anyone that considers his or herself to be an expert and would like to be a speaker is encouraged to submit an abstract on one of these topics. The deadline for submissions is September 30, 2011.
From security to technology companies to emergency response providers, there will be hundreds of national and international exhibitors at the Counter Terror Expo US. The Expo aims to influence decision makers within the state and local governments, US Armed Forces, law enforcement and private sector security professionals who represent a diverse base of industries vital to ensuring national security.
