SAVE THE DATE: Fight Night is coming to the Washington Hilton this November 10, 2011. More than 1,800 prominent business and government leaders along with legends from the boxing ring will come together to raise money for Fight For Children and other organizations that provide education and healthcare services to low-income children in the Washington D.C. area. The Fight Night fundraiser raised over $2.8 million last year.
Fight For Children, an independent non-profit organization that recognizes, promotes, and cultivates quality education for low-income children understands the critical link between good health and improved academic performance.
Chairman and CEO of J.E. Robert Companies, Joseph Robert, founded the nonprofit organization in 1990. Robert created Fight For Children to generate financial support and raise public awareness.
Since 2002, Fight Night has sold out tickets every year. Hosted in the largest ballroom in Washington D.C., Fight Night was rated as the number one benefit by BizBash Magazine in 2008 and 2009. Boxing legends such as Joe Frazier, Aaron Pryor and Roberto Duran have previously attended to support the cause.
The event starts at 6 p.m. For more information, please visit the Fight Night website.
