    NEW Announces Partnership With Japan’s ITOCHU Corporation

    N.E.W. Customer Service Companies, LLC (NEW) announced its partnership with ITOCHU Corporation, one of Japan’s top global trading firms, to expand product protection and customer service support to retailers of consumer electronics and appliances in Japan. NEW is a leading global provider of extended service plans, product support and buyer protection services.

    “Japan’s extended warranty market is poised for growth, and we’re excited to offer Japanese consumers product protection and peace of mind against unexpected failures,” said Tony Nader, president and CEO of NEW.

    With over 30 years of experience and as the largest global administrator of extended service plans, NEW offers retailers a chance to increase their customer service by raising consumer brand loyalty to achieve an overall success. NEW currently has its award-winning customer service call center in Tokyo, Japan, which provides coverage to more than 150 million customers worldwide. The company was founded in 1983 in Sterling, Va.

    ITOCHU Corporation currently has 130 locations in 68 countries. ITOCHU’s main focus is domestic trading, import/export and overseas trading of various products such as textile, information and communications technology, machinery, forest products and as well business investments in Japan and abroad.
