CGI Federal Inc. (CGI) was recently granted approval to deliver certified and secure government cloud services to the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA). CGI now ooperate on GSA’s government-wide, multi-vendor $76 million Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). CGI Federal Inc. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of CGI Group Inc.
U.S. federal, state, local and tribal entities will now be able to immediately order CGI’s cloud services, which include virtual machines and web hosting. Its Assessment & Accreditation process will ensure that CGI meets all of the security requirements, including the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) Moderate.
