The Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), an engineering and technology attainment company, announced that it successfully delivered a certified security system to protect critical possessions at Tinker Air Force Base under the Electronic Systems Center’s Protection Security System (FPS2) contract.

The contract provides heightened force and asset protection through the use of integrated base defense abilities at fixed and tactical sites worldwide.  The project included the design, connection, integration and analysis of closed circuit television, access control and intrusion detection systems, in addition to command control and display equipment.

“The whole team worked well together to achieve this critical milestone of fielding a compliant integrated defense system,” said Pat Dagle, chief of Force Protection Programs for the Electronic Systems Center.

SAIC will provide a one-year of follow-up logistic support for the system.
