The U.S. Small Business Administration has given Lore Systems a Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) certification, which stimulates economic development and creates jobs in urban and rural communities by supplying federal contracting preferences to small HUBZone certified businesses.

Small businesses who acquire a HUBZone certification gain preference over other businesses since they employ staff that lives in a HUBZone. Companies are required to maintain a principal office in a designated area as part of the certification.

“We are excited and prepared for new growth as a HUBZone certified company,” said Tien Wong, Chairman and CEO of Lore Systems. “We are very grateful for the outstanding support that the SBA is providing to small businesses as well as their work to strengthen our economy. We look forward to working with the SBA to continue growing our business in the Washington DC area.”

Lore Systems is a leader in enterprise network engineering, managed datacenter hosting and cloud computing.
