Booz Allen Hamilton, a top management and technology consulting services to the U.S. government, was awarded to be a prime contractor on the Veterans Affairs’ (VA), Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology (T4). This contract will assist VA in its renovation efforts. Booz Allen is one of 14 contractors of the award with a five-year performance period. The ID/IQ contract totals $12 billion.
The contract will allow the most proficient use of technology to alter VA in providing healthcare to veterans. The contract also permits VA to obtain services for IT programs that will help guarantee delivery of healthcare and benefits for veterans.
The contract will give an advantage to Booz Allen because it will help the company compete for task orders to support all aspects of technology transformation. Booz Allen has the opportunity to provide support in the following technical areas: strategy and planning, program management, enterprise network, systems and software engineering, cybersecurity, operations, maintenance and IT facilities.
