Digital Sandbox provides risk management software products and services for the public safety community; VidSys, Inc. is the leading provider of Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) software. PSIM allows organizations to resolve business and security situations in real time.

The partnership hopes to create a powerful solution for addressing customers’ critical asset protection and risk management needs. In the past both companies have focused their missions on different aspects of critical infrastructure protection, however they hope that by joining forces they will be able to take advantage of the natural synergy between their two views and reach the optimal solution for their customers.

“This is a great opportunity to enhance our own clients’ risk awareness, by bringing the VidSys situation information into our systems,” commented Jaffrey Ali, Digital Sandbox’s Vice President of Product Marketing. “And we are pleased that our customers who are using the VidSys PSIM platform can now leverage their critical asset data in the context of an unfolding situation.”

The companies will be demonstrating their collaboration at booth Y-3 at the 2011 National UASI & Homeland Security Conference in San Francisco, CA. from June 20-22.
