Aneesh Chopra spoke at the W.T. Woodson High School Class of 2011 Graduation on June 16th at Robinson Secondary School. Chopra encouraged graduates to be proactive in making their own futures, stating, “I am confident that walking this stage today will be the story of another great innovator.”

“Astronaut Catherine Coleman, a Woodson graduate, helped contribute to her generation’s mission on the space frontier, and so will be the story of your class, your generation. Only the mission that inspires you may not be as clear. Will you be the generation that makes solar power as cheap as fossil fuels? And build the first buildings that are able to produce all the energy that they consume?,” said Chopra.
