On Tuesday, Ridge Global, an international security and risk management service provider based in Washington, DC, announced Timothy Sutherland will be joining the company’s board of advisors.

Sutherland currently serves as Pace Global Energy Services LLC’s chairman and CEO. A graduate of Knox College and New York University, Sutherland founded Pace Global over 35 years ago. The start-up thrived, and is now an internationally-recognized energy consulting and management firm.

“I am excited and honored to be named to Ridge Global’s Board of Advisors,” said Sutherland. “Ridge Global has already established a strong record of leadership and expertise in the security planning, implementation, and response industry.  I look forward to supporting their growth with the insights and knowledge I’ve gained from leading Pace Global for over 35 years.”

Tom Ridge, Ridge Global’s president and CEO (and former secretary of Homeland Security), said he’s excited to have Sutherland join the advisory board.

“Tim Sutherland has a keen understanding of energy and environmental markets and the diverse business and economic strategies that must guide their success,” said Ridge. ” As the world’s public and private sectors continue to look for ways to improve energy options and sustainable business practices, Tim’s insights will help us to further meet our clients’ energy needs in an increasingly complex and changing market environment.”
