Women in Technology (WIT) recognized Linda Mills for her leadership and professional achievements yesterday with a “Women in Technology Leadership Award.”
Mills, who was honored in the Corporate Public Sector Large Business category, is currently corporate vice president and president Northrop Grumman’s information systems sector. Mills has “championed significant educational initiatives that promote science, technology, engineering, mathematics and cybersecurity,” according to the awards group.
This is not Mills’ first award. Earlier this year Profiles in Diversity Journal presented her with a “Leadership in Action Award.”
WIT is a DC-area not-for-profit specializing in “empowering women to be architects of change in the technology industry.” Northrop Grumman is a global security company.
