“With the combined skills of the SRA executive team, I’m excited about our ability to be one of the top-performing companies in our industry,” said Bill Ballhaus, SRA International President and CEO. “We have a large addressable market, and Deb’s proven ability to accelerate growth in our core markets and to deliver high client satisfaction through innovative and cost-effective solutions strengthens our market position as an industry leader.”
Alderson will continue to serve as EVP as well as COO. Her responsibilities include overseeing SRA International’s four business units: the Civil Government Group, the Defense Group, the Health Group, and the Intelligence, Homeland Security and Law Enforcement Group.
“Deb is a longtime friend and an executive who has earned the deep respect from me and from those who know her well,” said Stan Soloway, President & CEO of the Professional Services Council (PSC). “She knows the market, the keys to success, and the importance of maintaining a people-focused culture like that at SRA. She was, and remains, a great ‘get’ for SRA and I’m confident she’ll be an outstanding COO.”
Tim Atkin was also named chief administrative officer and chief of staff. According to the company’s press release, Atkin will continue his current duties and will now expand his role to include cross-organizational efforts and increase efficiency within the company.
“Tim’s government experience and successful background running multiple parts of SRA’s business complements Deb’s external client-facing focus,” added Ballhaus. “Tim intimately understands how to manage a lean organization that consistently delivers high client satisfaction.”
“Deb is amazing at distilling complex issues to their essence, developing strategies to address the issues, and inspiring others to execute those strategies as if they were their own,” said Tony Crescenzo, Chief Operating Officer at IntelliDyne, an SRA industry partner. “She’s also singularly focused on the delivery of high value services to clients. She’s really raising the bar. SRA’s got talent with Deb as COO.”
Atkin and Alderson will assume their new roles immediately.
